Ax Consultants comprises a team of clinicians with expert training in their respective fields of practice. Assessments can be conducted from our offices in and around Metropolitan Melbourne and Sydney.
Ax Consultants is led by Rachael Freeland. Trained in psychology, Ms Freeland has practised as a drug and alcohol clinician for the last 8 years specialising in the areas of assessment, drug and alcohol addiction, mental health, rehabilitation and acquired brain injury.

After numerous requests for psychiatric assessments, Ax Consultants have liaised with and established collaborative relationships with a key group of like-minded psychiatrists around the metropolitan region of Melbourne; who are committed to providing the psychiatric context for magistrates in court through the provision of individually tailored medicolegal reports.
Ax Consultants now offer services in other languages, provided by our own network of bilingual professionals, including Vietnamese, Cantonese, Italian and Greek.
